A day in your life

As the Head of Credit Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the framework and methodologies that the credit risk teams employ. You will oversee comprehensive portfolio analysis and be accountable for credit insights, to fuel proactive credit management across the organisation.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Provide one integrated view including analysis on portfolio quality across all segments and portfolios. Ensure this analysis is consistently used as effective communication towards a variety of (senior) stakeholders

  • Lead and prepare credit risk assessment and risk appetite statement, including planning/forecasting of key asset quality metric (i.e. NPL ratio, risk costs)

  • Lead and prepare Risk Cost, LLP and Credit RAS reporting ensuring deep insight of senior stakeholders

  • Propose changes to portfolio composition based on forward looking portfolio analysis and develop methodologies to detect and assess materiality of emerging risks

  • Develop and maintain Macro & Portfolio Early warning framework, Sector framework, Asset Quality Reviews to use as effective tool to steer portfolios

  • Coordinate all credit analytics and management reporting, including design and production of new dashboards (i.e. KRI per segment, capacity management, scorecard performance, Time to Decision analytics and reporting)

  • Lead and prepare Portfolio Management Committees and Valuation Board ensuring effective decision making by providing high quality analysis, actively challenging Senior Credit officers and timely follow-up on actions;

  • Ensure complete, accurate and consistent delivery on regulatory / ING Group ad-hoc requests in close collaboration with reporting CoE and act as one entry point towards ‘external’ stakeholders;

  • Functionally steer the deliverables of CoE Reporting (Finance) and the team in Risk Hub Poland (Risk data & analytics) to ensure ready for use data and reports;

The team

The role will report directly to the Credit Risk Tribe Lead, closely partnering with CRO, other risk leaders and business functions.
