Mission

Your mainly work activities will focus on the coordination of Business Lines Contract Owners/Service Receivers providing support on implementing and monitoring the internal outsourcing processes and acting as a linking pin for all stakeholders involved, enabling an effective and efficient outsourcing risk management in their processes and day-to-day activities.

Your day to day

  • Coordinate the outsourcing process by implementing the procedure requirements at local level, ensure that the proper identification of risks and self-assessments is done for new and existing contracts (3rd parties and Intragroup) and approved by the relevant Committee.

  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.

  • Guide and provide operational support to the local contract owners on ensuring providers compliancy with the ING applicable Minimum Standards by facilitating coordination and cooperation between stakeholders and relevant subject expert matters on outsourcing related activities; field visits to providers may needed in order to verify the implementation.

  • Facilitate outsourcing risk assessments and due diligence activities in line with the procedures in place.

  • Ensure the timely and proper documentation registration in relevant applications, including also the data quality on it.

  • Ensure registration and continuous status update of the internal roadmaps activities trackers.

  • You closely monitor the allocated outsourcing portfolio compliancy, inform and support contract owners for implementing remedial actions; perform timely follow-up and escalation when case

  • Actively participate to designing and implementation/execution of annual calendars for outsourcing related activities.

  • Perform and/or facilitate gap analysis, risk assessments and monitoring the remediation of gaps related to allocated new/revised global policies, internal ING documents and regulatory requirements.

  • Enhance close cooperation with all contract owners, subject matters experts and 2nd Lines involved in the outsourcing processes, following internal and global procedures.

  • Prepare draft reporting and communications for various key stakeholders (contract owners, subject expert matters and senior management).

  • Manage ad-hoc requests for data analysis and system process flow analysis in order to support business and management on reaching non-financial risk compliancy.

  • Actively participate on the global TIPM community calls raising structural issues linked to the outsourcing process and/or sound on global frameworks.

  • Continue focus on efficiencies and propose/implement improvements.

What you bring to the team:

  • You have at least a Bachelor level of education.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in non-financial risk identification or outsourcing management related activities.

  • You're an effective communicator winning the trust of team members, internal customers and external suppliers.

  • You are able to communicate in a clear way the why, what and when.

  • You have a very good command of the English language, both verbally and written (mandatory).

  • You have the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment, juggle competing priorities and combine a sense of urgency with due care and attention to details; you are a hands-on type of person.

  • You take initiative, pro-actively picking up tasks for optimizing outsourcing processes keeping continuous focus on efficiencies while equipping others on handling day to day tasks effectively on their own.

  • You have good understanding of Risk and ING, as well as of the drivers of our business.

  • You get personal satisfaction from analyzing problems, delivering solutions and always looking for opportunities to improve to business processes.

  • You are organized and can provide structure and maintain focus on the full picture having ability to prioritize, manage workload efficiently and being flexible to react to changing priorities and managing complexity.

  • Engage effectively with multiple stakeholders and respond with well-balanced, win-win solutions.
