Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) and Healthcare is one of the industry clusters within the Sectors business line in Wholesale Banking (WB). The Global Technology, Media, Telecom & Healthcare sector team (TMT&H) provides advice, highly competitive banking products and services to its over 500 clients worldwide. Your Tasks

  • From day one, you’ll play an active role in our deal origination efforts — analysing financial information, conducting market research, performing peer group analyses, reviewing information memorandums and term sheets, and drafting commercial proposals that help us win new business.
  • Whether you’re supporting multiproduct pitches to our TMT & Healthcare clients or preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders, your contribution makes a real impact.
  • With your analytical skills, you’ll assist in debt sizing, evaluate transaction (debt) structures and prepare comprehensive business comparables.
  • As you dive deeper into the role, you’ll build your sector expertise by keeping a close eye on market trends, key drivers, competitors, and macro developments, helping our team strengthen its strategic position.
  • Additionally, you immerse yourself into our lending transactions and aid us in coordination our credit approval process with the Transaction Management team.
  • Using the expertise you gain along the way, you involve yourself in formulating client strategies, maintaining relationships and learn to identify prospective clients as well as how to prepare business plan proposals.
  • You’ll collaborate with departments across the bank and gain valuable insights into how teams work together to achieve our sector income, fee, cross-buy, ESG, and return targets, while contributing to both our financial and non-financial goals.
  • Throughout your internship, you’ll not only sharpen your analytical and communication skills but also experience what it means to work in a truly international and collaborative environment.

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferably in Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Law, Engineering or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s
  • Practical experience in related fields (e. g. Project Finance, Wholesale / Corporate Banking, Transaction Services, Structured Asset Finance, Leveraged Finance, Debt Advisory) and sector knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented team player with priority on quality
  • High degree of self-initiative, eager to take on responsibility in an agile and international environment
  • Willingness to contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills in English, any other language (e. g. German) is a bonus
  • Available for 6 months starting now (please specify availability in your application)
