DevOps Network Engineer – Proxy & VPN



ING Hubs Poland is hiring!

We are looking for you if you have:

  • experience with proxy, VPN, firewall, and load balancers – enterprise solution (preferred: checkpoint, skyhigh, palo alto, f5),

  • strong network fundamentals (CCNA/CCNP knowledge level),

  • focus on security and reliability,

  • at least 2 years of experience in working with network technologies,

  • ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions,

  • ability to complete tasks and achieve results in an efficient, timely, and high-quality manner.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

  • experience in scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, GO, PowerShell,

  • automation skills,

  • ability to share knowledge.

Your responsibilities:

  • provide Tier 3 level Technical Support to customers,

  • operational support including LCM activities, solving network-related incidents, implementation of requests, reporting, and monitoring,

  • automation of operational tasks,

  • project work,

  • supporting security processes,

  • involvement in out-of-business-hours planned changes and provide standby on-call service as required.

The Global Internet Access Squad, based in Katowice and Warsaw, delivers proxied internet access and VPN solutions to ING employees all over the world. The team is focused on reliability and security of delivered solutions. Our services are based on Checkpoint, Skyhigh, F5, and Palo Alto. If you are a hardworking person with good sense of humor, you will fit in right away.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
