Job Title: Business Manager

(Equivalent to AVP/IC)

We are looking for a committed, ambitious, highly organized, and delivery-oriented Senior Business Support Manager within the Global FCFP Delivery Tribe.

The Global FCFP (Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention) Delivery Tribe develops, delivers, and maintain digital KYC services, contributing to socially relevant topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Sanctions and their global implementation across 40+ countries, affecting 36 million ING customers. Through this, we will be able to deliver our customers an optimal KYC experience, whilst remaining compliant and in control of our risks and processes on a global scale.

The context of the Business Manager The Global FCFP Delivery Tribe has 4 functional Areas: Customer Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring, Screening and Data. As Business Manager, you will support and advise one of the Global KYC Delivery Tribe Area Leads on relevant topics, which include Area Delivery & Performance, HR, Finance, Reporting & Control and Communication.

What you’ll be doing

Your standard responsibilities will include supporting the Product Area Lead in optimizing the functioning of the Area. You take care of assurance and maintenance of the identified business processes within the Area and make recommendations for improvements and potential efficiency gains.

  • • Within the area you’re organizing, facilitating, and supporting a part of the operating Area; you take care of the communications, you’re in control of and provide the right information to support the area to effectively track and monitor topics such as people, recruitment, budget, and product delivery.
  • • You involve your stakeholders and ensure improvements where needed, or you take the initiative yourself to drive continuous improvements to optimize the effectiveness of the area.
  • • You will contribute towards the delivery of the quantitative / qualitative budget (Dynamic Plan) and coordinate and launch follow-up actions. You ensure that management information and control information will be put together.
  • • You are responsible for the Quarterly Business Review cycle of the Area. In this regard you ensure timely decision making by facilitating the QBR process inside the Area and you are the linking pin between relevant stakeholders across the different Areas in the Delivery Tribe and the broader Global KYC Organization.
  • • You are “a spider in the web” of the area that you support and are the binding factor within the area.
  • • You coordinate HR process of the Area, focusing on, but not constraint to, sourcing, admin and keeping the overview and onboarding and other relevant HR metrics to run an effective area.
  • • You will also be responsible for the preparation of meetings, maintaining area ceremonies, heartbeat and rituals, organizing offsites and preparing presentations, memos and briefings. This is all in close collaboration with the Area Lead and your business management peers.

On top of providing support to your assigned area..

  • As a member of the central PMO team, you will manage events and projects that would have cross-area impact.
  • You will also support the Manila Delivery Tribe Management Team with logistics and administrative affairs

Personal Profile

  • • Masters degree
  • • Strong communication, networking and influencing skills
  • • At least 3-5 years work experience
  • • Fluent in English speaking and writing.
  • • Strong analytical skills
