Salary range: $185,000 – $240,000

Job Description:

Work with the Renewables & Power team to originate and execute power project financings in the Americas, with a focus on LATAM. Prepare presentation materials for new financing opportunities, initial deal screening/selection and risk analysis. Write greenlight memos, perform due diligence, and prepare credit applications and ancillary documents. Review and/or negotiate financing documents and material project agreements, capital structuring or M&A transactions in the power sector. Assist and manage the onboarding of clients/borrowers and KYC. Perform credit, industry and market analysis. Build return and project finance debt models from scratch, and internal risk rating models. Manage a portfolio of primarily self-originated loan transactions as primary officer, which includes coordination with the respective relationship manager and the Transaction, Regulatory Function team (portfolio management team). Review and quality control the work of supporting junior staff that are allocated to the respective transaction as secondary officer.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics and minimum 5  years of Vice President, Manager, or Senior Associate level project finance experience. Must have experience working with: power and renewables project finance industry; knowledge of the LatAm project finance market; originating, structuring and executing acquisition finance transactions in the energy, oil & gas sectors; performing financial analysis, credit analysis and financial modeling; financing structures and tax equity; performing portfolio management; debt structuring and execution, debt-sizing, and project risk assessment; monitoring changes in regulatory environment; identifying and creating commercial opportunities; working with LatAm clients.
