What does the Sector & Specialized Lending Transaction Management Team do in ING?

Intern in Sector & Specialized Lending Transaction Management with main responsibilities of end-to-end execution of sector-based (Energy, Telecom, Media, Technology & Healthcare, Metals & Mining, Transportation & Logistics, Real Estate) and specialised financing transactions

What would you be doing?

  • Together with the team, work through the life cycle of sector-based (energy, digital infrastructure, metals & mining, transportation & logistics) and specialized financing transactions

  • Assist in credit and comprehensive risk analysis including legal, market, technical, environmental & social and insurance due diligence and financial analysis and projections/modeling

  • Prepare internal application and memos and liaise with internal risk and loan operation stakeholders 

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financing documentation including term sheets and financing agreements

  • Assist in identifying and monitoring market developments and opportunities in relevant sectors

What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?

  • We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

  • You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.

  • Good working knowledge of excel, powerpoint and word.

  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
