We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join Mortgages Originations team.

Our ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on transformative technology projects and be responsible for ensuring business requirements are clearly interpreted into language that is easily understood by technical and business audience.

You’ll understand business processes and clearly document future state requirements for internal and external development teams. In this role, you’ll lead workshops with stakeholders, analyse complex information, and collaborate with Product Owners and delivery squads to ensure business needs are accurately captured. You’ll also take ownership of understanding the upstream and downstream impacts of any change, supporting the business by ensuring their objectives are met and solutions are aligned across teams and systems.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate in Agile or hybrid environments, contributing to artefact creation, ceremonies, and iterative delivery.
  • Define and document business processes and system requirements, aligning with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Quickly develop deep mortgage systems knowledge to support automation and system development initiatives.
  • Maintain a clear, up-to-date inventory of requirements and validate technical solutions against business needs, while also ensuring test teams have planned adequate coverage of these requirements in their test strategies and plans.
  • Communicate effectively with Product Owners, Customer Journey Experts, and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding.
  • Proactively manage risks, support customer experience optimization, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

What we’re looking for

  • Hold a degree or diploma in Technology or a related discipline, with over 7 years’ experience in business analysis across process design, requirements gathering, and functional documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Confluence, Jira, SQL, and XML analysis, with solid analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Skilled in working with cross-geographical teams and various SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and time management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision while building strong relationships with Business and IT stakeholders.
