The Tribe Digital, Assisted & Customer Interactions is responsible for achieving our digital sales goals and for managing and improving all digital interactions with our customers. In addition, with more than 70 data analysts and data scientists, we are accelerating the transition to a fully data-driven organization.You will be working in a team of data analysts and engineers that manage the DataMart of our tribe.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst with a background in data modeling and databases, preferably with experience in web and app data. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deep, specialist work and enjoys independently solving complex problems. You will play a key role in translating business needs into functional solutions. You can identify and translate user problems and requirements into the right functional specifications. You will work closely with stakeholders to build, test, and implement systems that help ING truly extract value from data.

As a Functional Analyst, you:

  • Have experience analyzing and detailing functional needs of internal and external stakeholders

  • Are skilled in writing user stories, functional specifications, and process models

  • Work independently, precisely, and in a structured way

  • Communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems

Your skills and experience:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration)

  • 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years as a Functional Analyst

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrable experience with web and app data (e.g., Adobe Analytics) is a plus

  • You enjoy specialist work

  • You work independently and take ownership of your tasks

  • Experience with query languages (e.g., SQL, SAS)
