The Mission

OnePAM ensures one single source of truth for all party/person, agreements and permissions data shared across all ING’s country and customer segments. You will be part of a team which helps building and maintaining the OnePAM API layer that facilitates the access to the data source, but also adds business capabilities on top.

Together with your team, you will be building APIs for designated entities in OnePAM or specific business cases. Every engineer actively participates in the extension of the platform’s capabilities by deploying and configuring new features and releases in a controlled way.

Your day to day

  • Being part of an end-to-end development process. You design, develop, test and deploy new features;

  • Support the applications in production environment that are under your team’s portfolio;

  • Manage and customize monitoring tools for your team’s portfolio;

  • Work in close cooperation with stakeholders (feature squads), but also with other teams on common software components that aid the developed APIs;

  • Create and keep up to date required documentation related to all systems/ solutions in your area of responsibility;

  • Offer technical guidance and support for your less experienced colleagues with hands-on focus;

  • By leveraging hexagonal architecture combined with DDD(domain driven design) and functional programming we are focusing on isolating our business domain implementation from specific data storage technology stack: elasticsearch, casssandra, MDM, AzureSQL.

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience: at least 5 years of experience as a software developer;

Foreign languages: English (advanced);

Education: nice to have Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT related field;

Tech stack/ knowledge:

Mandatory:

  • Java (21);
  • Spring-Boot, Spring core
  • Kafka;
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • RESTful API’s consumption, design and documentation;
  • Build tools such as Maven/Gradle;
  • Unit testing, Functional Testing, Integration testing, E2E testing.

Nice to have:

  • Domain driven design;

  • Hexagonal architecture;

  • Functional programming;

  • Cucumber;

  • Azure SQL,  Azure blob storage, k8s, Docker;

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (usage, adaptations and implementations).
