About the Role

As an FM Derivatives Operations Analyst/Specialist, you will be part of the FM Derivatives

Circle, responsible for the accurate, complete, and timely processing of a broad range of

Financial Markets Derivatives products, including:

• Interest Rate Derivatives

• Equity Derivatives

• Commodity Derivatives

• Listed Derivatives

You will play a critical role in managing the trade lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence,

minimizing settlement risk, and supporting ING's commitment to regulatory compliance and

client satisfaction.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial markets

while working with global stakeholders and contributing to the success of ING's Financial

Markets business.

What You'll Do

As part of the team, you will:

• Monitor and process trade lifecycle transactions

• Match and validate trade confirmations

• Investigate unmatched confirmations and resolve trade discrepancies

• Monitor and manage stuck trades

• Affirm and confirm trade details with clients and counterparties

• Raise, investigate, and resolve settlement breaks and exceptions

• Perform reconciliations across internal and external systems

• Ensure trades are processed accurately and within established timelines

• Support risk reduction through effective control and operational oversight

What We're Looking For

Technical & Professional Skills

• Experience in Financial Markets Operations, Derivatives Operations, Trade Support,

Middle Office, or related functions

• Understanding of trade lifecycle management, confirmations, settlements, and

reconciliations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to identify and resolve operational exceptions effectively

• Knowledge of financial markets products and operational controls is highly desirable

• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Relevant experience within banking, financial markets operations, trade processing, or

derivatives operations

• Experience working in complex operational environments with global stakeholders is an

advantage
