We are looking for you, if you:

have proven experience in web development, including both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend (Java, Bloomreach) technologies,
are familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git),
have bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field,
have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

You'll get extra points for:

Your responsibilities:

collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and backend services,
write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript for the front end, and Java, Bloomreach for the backend,
optimize website and application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions,
implement responsive designs and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
integrate backend systems and content management solutions using Bloomreach,
troubleshoot and debug issues across both front-end and backend, providing timely solutions,
stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in both front-end and back-end development.

Information about the squad:

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our IT team, specializing in both front-end and back-end technologies. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing our digital environment, with a focus on delivering seamless user experiences and robust backend solutions. You will be working in multicultural environment with other ING specialists.

If you are passionate about creating user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have experience with backend development in Java and Bloomreach, this role is for you. We value tech-savvy professionals who are curious about new digital technologies and eager to learn.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Engineer III"
