Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst to join our Retail Credit Risk Team of ING Retail Risk domain.

The responsibility of this team is to oversight the risk in the Spanish Retail Lending portfolio during the whole credit lifecycle, and our way of working is split in small subject-expert areas with a continuous interaction with international teams.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst you will:

Positively contribute to the risk management of the Spanish Portfolio, particularly for the Personal loans product, through your reporting, monitoring, and communication capabilities.

Collaborate to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring appropriate levels of capital and provisions, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Promote Personal Loans portfolio growth, together with the product/business side, on a profitable and sustainable manner.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Statistics, Maths or Econometrics.

- Proven experience in risk management for Retail lending portfolios, particularly Personal Loans. Experience in Consumer Lending for Business Banking customers would also be considered a valuable skill.

- Excellent knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics, as well as programming, in SAS and SQL.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of macroeconomic trends, banking and financial industry.

- Independent, creative and proactive mindset. Focus on delivering pragmatic and feasible solutions.

- Fluent English and Spanish language skills.

- Eager to lead projects.

Estamos buscando una persona con talento y entusiasmo para incorporarse como Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst a nuestro equipo de Retail Credit Risk dentro del dominio de ING Retail Risk.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es supervisar el riesgo de la cartera de financiación Retail en España durante todo el ciclo de vida del crédito, y nuestra forma de trabajar se organiza en pequeñas áreas de especialización con una interacción continua con equipos internacionales.

Tus responsabilidades principales:

Como Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst:

Contribuirás de forma positiva a la gestión del riesgo de la cartera española, especialmente en el producto de préstamos personales, mediante tus capacidades de reporting, monitorización y comunicación.

Colaborarás en la identificación y mitigación de riesgos, garantizando niveles adecuados de capital y provisiones, así como el pleno cumplimiento de los requisitos regulatorios.

Impulsarás el crecimiento de la cartera de Préstamos Personales, junto con el área de producto/negocio, de manera rentable y sostenible.

¿Qué estamos buscando?

• Titulación universitaria o equivalente en Economía, Administración y Dirección de Empresas, Estadística, Matemáticas o Econometría.
• Experiencia demostrable en gestión de riesgos para carteras de financiación Retail, especialmente en Préstamos Personales. La experiencia en Consumer Lending para clientes de Business Banking también se considerará una competencia de gran valor.
• Excelente conocimiento de estadística y/o matemáticas, así como programación en SAS y SQL.
• Sólidas capacidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas. Conocimiento de las tendencias macroeconómicas, la banca y el sector financiero.
• Mentalidad independiente, creativa y proactiva. Orientación a la entrega de soluciones pragmáticas y viables.
• Nivel fluido de inglés y español.
• Interés y motivación por liderar proyectos.
