The Operational Risk Monitoring Manager is responsible for overseeing the identification, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of operational risks across the organization. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the company’s risk governance structure by ensuring effective implementation of key risk indicators and risk reporting frameworks. The manager will lead a team and collaborate cross-fuctionally with business lines, compliance, audit, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of operations risk monitoring strategies, frameworks and tools overseeing operational risk event, root cause analysis and loss reporting processess

  • Develop and maintain a robust KRI and metrics program to proactively identify and mitigate risk

  • Oversee all issues already live, work hard to close them before the due date and prevent opening of the new ones

  • Drive regular risk assessment internally and ensure timely remediation of control gaps

  • Produce and present executive-level risk reports, dashboards and trend analysis

  • Guide and mentor team members, manage performance and development planning

Educational requirements

  • Highschool degree / Bachelor's degree

Professional experience

  • Economic degree (preferred)

  • Experience in Finance field (preferred)

  • Operational Risk Management

  • Draft risk reports and managing control systems

  • Ability to work with data analytics tool and advanced excel

Analytical and Soft skills

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to guide a team and work in a team

  • Attention to detail and regulatory compliance

Working conditions: Full Time

Duration: Permanent
