The Opportunity

Our Transaction Services traineeship is a full‑time 18‑month programme, designed to give you broad exposure to our TS organisation. It consists of three rotations of six months, each in a different area of Transaction Services. You will be an integrated team member and quickly familiarise yourself with our clients, products, processes, and the broader Wholesale Banking landscape.

You will start with two full onboarding weeks, meeting fellow trainees and learning about ING, Wholesale Banking, and the TS organisation. Throughout your traineeship, you follow a structured development curriculum with technical training, self‑study modules, professional skills development, and continuous on‑the‑job learning.

You will be assigned mentors to guide you throughout the programme, and a buddy will help you settle in in each rotation.

Upon successful completion of the traineeship, our ambition is to offer you a permanent position within Transaction Services. While your primary base will be Amsterdam, one of your rotations may take place abroad, reflecting our international TS network.

About the application process

Applications are open until April 27th for the positions starting on September 1st, 2026. We will only accept applications consisting of a concise CV and a motivation letter – both in English and written by yourself (not using AI). If you pass through the first round, be prepared to share a max 60 sec video (.mov or .mp4) of yourself explaining why you want to join Transaction Services and why we should select you.
