Data Analyst in Credit Risk Model Data

The expected salary for this position: 9 600 - 16 500 PLN

  • You are data savvy with advanced analytical skills
  • You are proficient in SAS and/or SQL programming
  • You have experience in common office tools such as MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint, and the ability to use them effectively for reports and presentations.
  • You excel at identifying problems, analyzing key information to make connections and find appropriate solutions
  • You are independent, creative and proactive with the ability to challenge the status quo when needed
  • You deliver high-quality results efficiently and timely, with a focus on execution and achieving targets and KPIs
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and build effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders across teams and geographies

You get extra points if:

  • You understand how credit works in a bank
  • You have experience in financial and/or credit risk
  • You have experience with credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD)
  • You have knowledge of IRB and/or IFRS9 models and regulations
  • You have knowledge of statistical tools and modelling techniques
  • You have extensive programming experience in SAS or similar languages

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data quality assessment and validation analyses supporting credit risk modelling and validation activities
  • Understand data structures and software integration and identifying inconsistencies and incorrect data constructions.
  • Develop and maintain clear, high-quality reports and functional documentation to describe methodologies, analysis and findings
  • Review, enhance, and maintain functional documentation in alignment with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to validation, modelling, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to team knowledge management and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and optimizing tools, processes, and ways of working

Information about the team:

  • We are looking for analytics and/or risk professionals to join the Data Model Validation Team under the Risk Data Tribe, a global team with members based in the Netherlands, Poland and the Philippines. We support the Credit Risk Modelling and Validation Teams by combining knowledge of risk modelling concepts, advanced data processing, and analytics capabilities. We assess methodologies, data preparation, and data quality to ensure models are robust, fit for purpose, and compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Beyond our technical expertise, we work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across locations and functions, requiring strong collaboration and clear communication.
