DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join ING's Shared Technology environment and work as part of a cross-functional team delivering reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions. You'll collaborate closely with developers, architects, stakeholders, and global engineering teams to support mission-critical platforms and continuously improve the software delivery lifecycle.

You'll help drive automation, cloud adoption, monitoring, and operational excellence while ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and efficient. The role emphasizes CI/CD engineering, cloud technologies, and automation practices.

About the Team

You'll become part of ING Hubs Philippines, an international organization supporting business units across the global ING network. Working alongside colleagues from different countries and cultures, you'll contribute to technology solutions that help ING continuously evolve the future of banking. What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms
• Automate software delivery processes and engineering workflows
• Build, configure, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and environments
• Monitor applications and platforms to ensure reliability, availability, and performance
• Manage deployments, releases, rollbacks, and change management activities
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate incident resolution across teams
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple geographies
• Develop solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and platform stability
• Support mission-critical systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 3-5 years of relevant DevOps experience
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Automation and scripting skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams
• Experience supporting or developing software applications in complex environments

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Infrastructure as Code experience
• Monitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Systems administration and networking knowledge
• Experience with distributed systems and modern cloud architectures
