We’relooking for multiple Customer Development Managersto help shape how customers engage with ING from day one and throughout their journey with us. In these roles,you’lldrive early engagement, lift product uptake, deepen ongoing connections, reduce customerattritionand turn insights intopurposeful action—with real autonomy to optimise and evolve creative execution at pace.

Across several focus areas, you may be designing exceptionalfirst‑90‑day onboarding experiences, maximisingsales and cross‑sell opportunities, improvingengagement and retention, or developing strategies toretainand win back customers at risk. Whichever area you focus on,you’llleveragecustomer insights, analytics,segmentationand real‑time triggers to deliver measurable commercialoutcomes.

Whatyou’lldo

  • Use customer,marketand competitor insights to define priority segments and shape campaign strategy. 

  • Buildbest-in-classpersonalisedcustomerjourneysfocusedon, featureadoption,transactions and deposits,cross-sell,attritionand app engagement.

  • Initiateand lead creative adjustments, including copyoptimisationsand A/B test variants driven by performance insights and business needs.

  • Setcampaign success metrics, analyse performance, run experiments, and optimise spend by scaling what works.

  • Leverage data dashboards, testingframeworksand AI-driven insights to guide decisions andidentifysignals that matter. 

  • Collaborate across Growth, Product, Digital, Marketing, Legal and Compliance to deliver seamless, customer-centriccampaigns.

Whatwe’relooking for

  • Experience using customer data,segmentationand insights to drive targeted communications and engagement strategies, with SQL highly regarded but not essential.

  • A background in banking, financialservicesor another regulated environment. Exposure to PEGA, statistical experimentation or behavioural science considered beneficialbut not essential.

  • An understanding of test‑and‑learn practices, ROI measurement and data‑driven decision making.

  • A builder’s mindset with a strong bias for action, turning ideas into results quickly while working end‑to‑end.

  • Confidence navigating compliance guardrails, managing cross‑functionalstakeholdersand handling challenging conversations to keep initiatives moving.

  • A proactive self‑starter with a project‑management mindset, exceptional communication skills, a passion for customers and the courage to challenge ideas constructively.
