As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping, managing, and evolving the Retail Lending portfolio, ensuring that ING delivers best‑in‑class credit products and seamless end‑to‑end processes for customers and credit brokers.

The squad’s immediate objective is to enhance clients’ access to e‑brokerage, enabling them to obtain mortgages through brokers directly via the Home’Bank application. We work closely with cross‑functional partners to deliver seamless digital journeys that support both customer needs and business ambitions.

Your day to day

In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Retail Lending products and processes, ensuring that our value proposition remains competitive, compliant, and customer‑centric.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a key contributor in managing the Retail Lending product portfolio and the relationship with credit brokers, ensuring the achievement of business objectives (profitability, market share, volume growth).
  • Owning and delivering product and process enhancements as required by stakeholders.
  • Designing, maintaining, and optimizing credit origination processes across channels (ING channels & brokers).
  • Coordinating functional and user acceptance testing for product and process changes, as well as for related applications.
  • Managing operational risks connected to lending processes.
  • Ensuring full compliance of products and processes with internal/external regulations, risk policies, and legal requirements.
  • Maintaining effective communication flows across all involved teams to secure smooth implementation of projects and daily operations.
  • Building strong relationships with business stakeholders and support teams (Risk, IT, Marketing, Operations), actively managing service-level agreements.
  • Providing expert support for product‑related issues, customer scenarios, and process improvements.


What you bring to the team

  • University degree in Economics; Finance & Banking is an advantage.
  • Solid experience in Retail Lending (knowledge of credit origination/brokerage processes is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management (preferably in Retail Banking).
  • Proven ability to coordinate and deliver product/process initiatives end‑to‑end.
  • Experience working with credit brokers is a strong plus.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to influence across teams.
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, curiosity, and a strong drive for results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast‑changing environment
