Who are we looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Journey Expert to join our team and accelerate digital engagement and conversion. The ideal candidate combines a passion for growth with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of digital funnels, and experience in experimentation and optimization.

Do you love running A/B tests, analyzing data, and turning insights into action? Are you passionate about creating measurable impact and driving growth across digital journeys?

As our new Customer Journey Expert, you will work closely with marketers, data analysts, and product teams to define growth strategies, run experiments, and optimize performance across ING’s digital channels. You will own the growth roadmap, identify opportunities, and ensure that every initiative is backed by data and delivers real value.

Here is where you come in: designing and executing strategies that boost adoption, engagement and conversion across ING’s digital journeys and collaborating with other tribes making sure we are making long term positive impact across many customer segments. On a daily basis, you will curate the performance of our digital content, introduce and run experiments, and further optimize it. You translate insights into journeys, define measurable outcomes, and drive adoption of digital assets across squads — so we deliver relevant and delightful experiences. You are up to date with the latest market developments in persuasion and personalisation and see opportunities to apply that knowledge. You get excited about creating an engaging digital environment, show initiative and enjoy working in a team.

Knowledge and experience

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in growth marketing, CRO, digital strategy or performance marketing
  • Strong understanding of digital funnels, UX principles, and behavioral insights
  • You know your way around web analytics, identifying trends, and anticipating customer needs
  • You have experience in leveraging user data to inform strategic and tactical content decisions
  • You can simplify complexity, influence stakeholders and drive decisions with evidence
  • Hands‑on experience with A/B testing, analytics platforms, and experimentation tools
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools and concepts, and ability to apply them in digital strategy and experimentation
  • Strong external market orientation, with awareness of industry trends and best practices, and ability to translate them into actionable growth opportunities
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that increase Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV), including segmentation, pricing, and personalized engagement
  • You are a self-starter and eager to learn
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
