As a Marketing & Communication Intern at ING Bank Netherlands, you will join the Corporate Technology Departmentwhich deliverstech services internallyto ING’s 40+ countries. You willwork with the management team, IT professionals, and global tech communications colleagues to createcommunicationsmaterials andmanageinternalchannelsfor various IT products andteams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MaintainthedepartmentSharePointsite with info on services provided
  • Manage internaldigital channels(Teams communities, Viva engage)
  • Support and developinternalcommsmaterials, including presentations, brochures,videos editing and copy
  • Support management teammeetings
  • Developmarketing/product pages for various IT products and internalteams

We are looking for:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in communication, marketing, business administration, journalism, or related field
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills,you’rea team player
  • Passionate about technology and innovation
  • Based in the Netherlands; available in-office at least 2 days per week
  • Independent, ambitious, and results-oriented
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and creative
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Fluent in English
  • Enthusiasm and experience with content creation is a big plus (thinkTikToks, Reels, Podcast, Vlogs)

Examples of What You Would Be Doing:

  • Managecomms structureand templates to ensure consistency across IT-related messaging
  • Manage department SharePoint site to provide customers and stakeholders with a central, reliable source of information on delivered services
  • Enhance engagement withinthe Corporate Technology internal social channels by posting regular updates, encouraging colleague participation, and developing strategies to grow the community
  • Support the preparation of demos and facilitation of stakeholder and management team sessions
  • Participate in management meetings todrivemarketing and communication plansand materials
  • Assistwith planning department events
  • Collect andanalysefeedback from employee and business partner satisfaction surveys toidentifyactionable insights and areas for improvement
