ING Luxembourg is looking for an intern to join its Customer Care department for a minimum of 6 months internship, starting in January 2026.

The internship must be covered by a school agreement.

Customer Care Department:

Our service operates as an operational department that handles operational matters with a strong legal dimension.

The department handles the following matters:

  • Customer complaints across all banking segments (Retail Banking, Private Banking, Wholesale Banking).
  • Assets seizures (both civil and criminal).
  • Successions.
  • Police and Tax Authorities inquiries.

Due to the legal nature of the topics addressed, the department works in close collaboration with the Bank’s Legal Department, ensuring that all actions are aligned with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks while maintaining a strong operational focus.

Job description:

As a Customer Care Intern, you will play an active role in supporting the department’s daily operations and contribute to a variety of operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the processing and follow-up of customer complaints across various banking segments.
  • Supporting the administrative management of inheritance and guardianship cases.
  • Contributing to the handling of third-party notices (e.g., summonses).
  • Assisting in the coordination and follow-up of ongoing projects, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as team members and other relevant departments.
  • Providing day-to-day operational support to the team, including postal mail handling and other administrative duties.

Your profile:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or having completed at least a Master's level degree (BAC+4) with a specialization in Economics, Law, or Finance.
  • Initial experience in a banking environment is considered an asset.

Skills:

  • Good analytical and summarizing skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good team spirit and coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Ability to manage projects independently.
  • Strong interest in the banking and operational environment.
  • Strong client experience orientation.
  • A background in legal matters is considered an asset.

Languages:

  • Fluency in French and a good command of English are required.
  • Knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German is considered an asset.
