ING Australia are recruiting a ODCR Lead – Third Party, Continuity & Operational Resilience role which is key line 1 risk leadership role reporting directly to our Head of ODCR.

The role is responsible for a team of risk managers who specialise in providing 1st line support on Third & Intragroup Party, Business Continuity and Resilience Risk related activities across the organisation. The team provides support through advice, guidance, assurance & continuous improvement activities.

Resilience and Continuity at ING Australia takes a bank-wide approach to identify potential threats, laying the foundations for a framework that safeguards the interest of its key stakeholders, brand and value-creating activities, and ensuring that critical services remain available in the event of a significant disruptive event.

You will be responsible for the establishment of a Centre of Excellence to prepare the bank to respond to and recover from a wide variety of significant disruptive events. You will also continually review ING’s service agreements, regulatory requirements and end to end processes in order to achieve exceptional market leading customer experience, risk management and overall value driven outcomes for the bank.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a team of Line 1 Risk specialists responsible for Third Party, Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Risk driving a high-performance culture
  • Responsible for Design, Implementation, Maintenance and advice on Third Party, Intragroup, Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Risk Management.
  • Crisis co-ordination in case of significant business disruption
  • Lead and facilitate steering committees for Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and Third Party & Intragroup Party Risk
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and efficiency across these critical risk classes
  • Advise and present to Exco and Board Member’s on INGs on Third Party, Intragroup, Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Risk Management

What we’re looking for

  • 15+ years’ experience in Retail Banking / Financial Services environment
  • 10+ years’ experience in Resilience, Business Continuity and / or Third-Party Risk Management
  • 10+ years’ experience in leading teams within a Financial Services environment
  • Experience with CPS 230, 231, 232 (or equivalent) compliance
  • Previous experience in a Risk or Compliance role (Financial or Non-Financial) either within 1st or 2nd Line
