Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Bank core business lines. We offer a suite of WB products and services to corporate and institutional clients. We are a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of the WB. The purpose of the TS Delivery Management organisation is to make our clients successful by offering them seamlessly integrated TS solutions. We have a global mandate to improve products in such a way that internationally operating clients experience ING as one bank across the entire ING network. We have the asset ownership for all IT assets in scope and are responsible for the delivery of services to our clients and stakeholders.

The Team

For the Delivery Management Area Reporting & Cards, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary Delivery Product Lead with a strong, proven track record in end-to-end delivery leadership. As a Delivery Product Lead in TS Delivery Management, you have hierarchical responsibility for Customer Journey Experts (CJEs) and for functional steering of the delivery including regulatory, lifecycle management (LCM), digitalisation, and business growth initiatives. You will head the Delivery Domain Reporting in the Reporting & Cards Area.

The Reporting & Cards Area, encompasses Customer Reporting, Point-of-Sale Merchant Acquiring and E-commerce. As the Reporting Delivery Product Lead, you will drive the delivery of key initiatives in collaboration with a team of skilled Customer Journey Experts (CJEs). In the coming years, your focus includes Instant Reporting, roll out of CAMT messaging, expanding Premium API services, extend support to new countries and new TS customer reporting products, supporting the growth of the business, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the product life cycle. In addition, you are responsible for stabilizing our platform and continue to build a reliable and scalable service.

Your role includes steering and guiding squads with strong delivery discipline, providing  strategic direction, coach them in day-to-day execution, and defining and safeguarding the product roadmap. Managing stakeholders and aligning their priorities is also a critical aspect of the role.

The CJEs report to you hierarchically. You empower them to grow, deepen their expertise and perform at their best. You set a clear direction, support the development of their expertise, and engage in ongoing conversations around their growth, performance and Orange behaviour.

You will report hierarchically to the Delivery Area Lead and work across multiple intersecting products, requiring strong delivery execution and alignment toward shared objectives. Roles and responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility is to steer the product delivery, set the priorities for your delivery domain

  • You report to the Delivery Area Lead Reporting & Cards.

  • You are hierarchically managing Customer Journey Experts in your delivery domain.  

  • You manage the future direction of your delivery domain and steer on the delivery related activities.

  • You manage the required capacity and delivery of your delivery domain to overall bank leadership via Quarterly Business Reviews.

  • You proactively drive cross-area dependency management, maintain alignment with other Delivery Areas, IT leadership and Architecture.

  • You act as asset owner, with responsibility for risk and data.

Your key responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring that business objectives are properly translated into requirements, delivery roadmaps, milestones, and delivery.

  • You strengthen the “ING way of working”.

  • You have business acceptance responsibility for the tech delivery.

  • You are responsible for managing the products, leading QBR (Quarterly Business Review) process, steering change delivery.

  • You are the business representative for complex international change projects/programmes.

  • You collaborate with TS Commercial Product Management to provide a differentiating experience for ING’s customers for the TS related product and services at optimal value and profitability for ING.

  • You are responsible for optimizing the financial operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency for these products.

  • You create annual financial plans and manage the platform and teams to remain within budget

  • You ensure our license-to-operate by secure and flawless 24/7 operations while ensuring regulatory compliance across your delivery domain.

  • You are responsible for managing the demand towards internal stakeholders and external vendors, in cooperation with the IT Area Lead and IT Chapter Leads.

  • You are responsible for aligning with TS Commercial Product Management, Delivery Area Leads, the IT Area Lead, and the Architecture organisation and the stakeholder management across other key stakeholders.

  • You are responsible for risk management and follow the appropriate procedures to assess and mitigate financial risk and non-financial risk.

  • You are responsible for the coaching and performance review cycle of Customer Journey Experts so that they can get the best out of themselves.

  • You have a strong affinity with technology, architecture and platform integrations to effectively manage product‑related dependencies.

Proven track record and technical skills

  • Master’s degree.

  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in product delivery.

  • Experience working with data insights and analytics to guide decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Experience working in product delivery, roadmap creation, analysis and product backlog prioritisation is a must, supported by a proven ability to drive delivery excellence, bring clarity and structure, manage dependencies, and maintain consistent execution across complex, regulated environments.

  • Deep product expertise in Payments & Reporting.

  • Proven experience or strong affinity with the ING Agile Way of Working.

  • Proven experience in delivering strategic initiatives with medium to high impact, with the ability to navigate international settings and collaborate across countries, domains and stakeholder groups.
