As a Business Analyst in the Intelligent Automation team, you are the bridge between business needs and automation delivery. You identify automation opportunities within the ING Finance domain based upon the Finance strategic priorities, evaluate the fit for purpose solutioning, translate processes into scalable solutions. You identify and initiate automation potential in the Finance domain. You work closely with stakeholders across Finance business teams, IT and the Intelligent Automation team to deliver compliant, efficient, and future-proof automation.

The team:

You will be part of the Intelligent Automation team within the COO Finance organization. From this team, the Finance organisation is serviced with low-code solutions (recognised as temporary solutions). Also strategical solutions for Finance are serviced via the COO Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intake & Evaluation: Lead unified intake of automation requests from the Finance organization. Drive assessments on possible strategic vs. low-code solutioning. Determination of business case values for automation
  • Process Analysis: Identify automation potential based in the Finance Strategic priorities to ensure delivery on the finance strategic targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with end users, COOF MT, architects, and local CFOs to align on solutioning
  • Delivery Oversight: Coordinate within the Intelligent Automation delivery team to ensure delivery within the agreed timelines
  • Governance & Ownership: Support evaluation of automation ownership and governance of low-code solutions and drive assessments of opportunities to replace low code solutioning with strategic solutioning
  • Fit-for-purpose solution design: Translate business processes into automation flows of technologies already used in the Intelligent Automation team or identify fit-for-purpose solutioning on other technologies
  • Artificial Intelligence: Actively support finding candidates for AI in the (COO) Finance organization and support the implementation of AI in automation solutions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in business analysis and automation preferably in Finance domains.
  • Strong understanding of low-code platforms (Alteryx, Power BI, Automation Anywhere, OutSystems).
  • Familiarity with COOF governance models and strategic alignment processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills on all levels (end users – sr. management)
  • Agile mindset and experience working in cross-functional squads
