Corporate Audit Services (CAS) is INGs internal audit department. The role of CAS is to provide an independent assessment of the design and effectiveness of ING's internal controls. CAS staff work closely with business lines and support functions to identify emerging risks. Through a combination of expertise in technology, data analytics, and risk management, the team delivers actionable recommendations that support the organisation to address control deficiencies and drive continuous improvement.

As an Auditor, you are part of the part of the IT & Data Management audit team. This is a dedicated team assessing the control environment within the technology and data management domains. In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues to determine whether internal controls are appropriately designed and effectively implemented. Audits are conducted in both Belgium and Luxembourg.

Your key responsibilities

The role of an auditor is to participate in the execution of audit assignments. An auditor carries out audit assignments, documents findings and evidence, follows up on internal reviews, and supports conclusions with clear evidences. Auditors are also expected to understand the team's audit scope, testing procedures, and build professional relationships within their network of audit clients.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience within the IT and/or an audit sector, complemented with strong analytical abilities. You are adaptable, enjoy learning and ready to take on new challenges in a changing environment.

As an Auditor, you:

  • have a master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Auditing
  • you are a certified auditor, e.g. CIA or CISA
  • have minimum 4 years of work experience
  • have technical knowledge of information technology and security
  • have effective communication skills
  • are fluent in English and preferably in French and/or Dutch
