Mission

As a DevOps Engineer you will deliver support to our customers by providing quality and fast resolutions, involve in fixing production bugs and constantly looking to improve and/or automate our processes and procedures. The DevOps role requires gaining knowledge across the whole stack (like operating systems, disk management, databases, networking, performance, web site, load balancing, security, backups, disaster recovery, project management, and configuration management) while also being involved in day to day activities of the squad.

Your day to day

  • Ensure platform stability, performance and reliability;

  • Investigate, analyse, document and solve production incidents;

  • Patching and vulnerability management;

  • Test application functionality in production after patches or releases;

  • Find opportunities to reduce manual work by automation;

  • Root cause analysis to determine the actual failure cause and implement structural fixes;

  • Perform High Availability and Disaster Recovery tests;

  • Configure or improve existing monitoring and alerting;

  • Collaborate with squads and support teams to identify errors or application deficiencies.

What you bring to the team

  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL);

  • Ability to troubleshoot OS level issues, performance bottlenecks and service failures;

  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills;

  • Comfortable working across OS, network, application logs and container layers to identify root causes;

  • Familiarity with Java/JVM-based applications;

  • Experience administering JBoss and Tomcat application servers;

  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools, especially Ansible;

  • Good scripting skills (bash);

  • Familiar with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus);

  • Good understanding of security best practices, compliance basics and secure configuration;

  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, load balancing);

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for troubleshooting, connectivity and simple queries;

  • Experience in incident management;

  • Wilingness to learn and experiment new technologies.
