Workday Product Owner

The expected salary for this position: 13 000 - 20 000 PLN gross


The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.

We are looking for you, if you:

  • Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Product Owner (with project management experience) in a data management discipline or in a similar position,

  • Good understanding of Workday processes, preferably with at least one certification,

  • Experience in gathering and understanding business requirements,

  • Are able to manage a complex international environment and organizational structures, you have the ability to lead the process by influencing others and are able to coordinate virtual teams and apply Agile methodologies,

  • Are able to identify and control technical and project risks and seek facilitation to solve problems, collaborate with management within and outside the formal organization,

  • Have a good understanding of process modelling, change management principles, outsourcing business processes, performance metrics and relevant HR experience is a plus,

  • Have excellent communication skills in English (also business language skills).

  • Ability to manage a large and complex stakeholder map,

  • Resilience and ability to work in a high-pressure environment,

  • Strategy and results orientation: ability to understand the business context in which system solutions are developed and to design them to ensure alignment with relevant overall business strategies, data management strategy and IT strategy,

  • Ability to collaborate and influence: the ability to establish meaningful relationships in a large and complex enterprise at various levels.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Developing the product vision (IT assets, services) and defining the product roadmap, as well as coordinating the work of the team (prioritizing the Product Backlog with relevant stakeholder needs),

  • Gathering and conducting initial analysis of change requests, data entry requirements and ETL tasks according to defined processes; conducting interviews to support diagnosis and designing individual solutions together with delivery teams,

  • Collaborating with IT Service Manager, Functional Engineers and Business Analysts on service levels,

  • Responding to escalations of underlying issues (providing recommendations and driving or gathering approvals from line management and/or asset owners when required),

  • Risk management,

  • Proactively working with suppliers on innovation and regular product/system updates/publications,

  • Supporting and enabling HR transformation objectives; finding harmonized ways to deliver current activities while enabling the project.

The Global HR vision is building the craftmanship and the engagement of our people to deliver on the purpose and strategy of ING.  The Product Owner team within COO People is critical to ensure roll out of ING’s People Strategy across the HR function and ensure appropriate continuity, maintenance, change management and controls over Global HR owned assets and applications; fostering governed and compliant activities and promoting system standardization to enable operational excellence and enhance employee experience.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Product Manager III".
