INTERNSHIP - ISIM Sales Support

ING Solutions Investment Management (ISIM) is looking for a Sales Support Intern to support its activities in Luxembourg starting from the beginning of May 2026 for 6 months.  

Please note that only candidates who can provide a valid internship convention with a university will be considered.

ISIM is a subsidiary of ING Belgium (32%) and ING Luxembourg (68%). ISIM benefits from the status of a “Super ManCo” as it has received licenses to manage both UCITS and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). ISIM currently oversees Investment Funds distributed by different Group-entities: ING Belgium, ING Luxembourg, ING The Netherlands, ING Germany, ING Italy, ING Spain, ING Poland. 
ISIM is the Luxembourgish ManCo of ING Group and is pursuing its development as a key tool for Investment Fund solutions within ING Group.  

Your Missions

As a Sales Support Intern, you will work closely with the Sales team and gain first-hand insight into how our funds are managed and promoted. Your daily activities will include supporting the team in monitoring key fund information and assisting them with their main tasks. You may work on activities such as analyzing data files, preparing materials, or creating presentations for meetings with clients from the various countries where ISIM funds are distributed.

You will also participate directly in these meetings, observing how Relationship Managers interact with different international markets and learning how each analysis and presentation is tailored to ensure effective communication with each specific country.

Throughout your internship, you will collaborate with several internal teams, allowing you to understand how different business functions work together. You will interact with the Marketing team, contributing to the creation of commercial documentation, and with the Product Team on everything related to product information, the main interface through which ISIM presents itself to clients and maintains a continuous relationship with them. You will also have the chance to work with the Portfolio Team, gaining exposure to professional tools such as Bloomberg and developing technical skills valuable for your future career.

Collaboration and support within the Sales team will be a key part of your daily routine, enabling the team to achieve its objectives and giving you the opportunity to grow within an international and dynamic environment.

You will be asked to assist the Sales team in various tasks, such as: 

  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and data analysis under the guidance of a Relationship Manager, supporting interactions with our   clients and strategic partners
  • Actively participate in the creation and enhancement of product materials, as well as in the development and maintenance of website content related to ISIM’s fund offering.
  • Support the preparation of B2B client meetings by helping assemble tailored presentations, reports, and supporting documents for different international markets.
  • Assist in the preparation of Board Packs for the investment funds managed by ISIM, as well as for ISIM’s Management Board, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the documentation provided
  • Given the size of the team, the Sales Support will also provide support in various operational / administrative tasks of the ManCo whenever needed.

Your profile

Knowledge and Experience:

  •  Studying Economics / Finance / Business or a similar subject. Any experience in marketing and web design are considered as an asset.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a university and able to provide a valid internship convention
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data analysis tools) and PowerPoint (ability to create and manage professional presentations with ease).

Skills:
•    Flexible and eager to learn  
•    Team player  
•    Fluency in English or French, knowledge of other languages (German, Dutch, Italian, Polish etc) being considered as an asset.
