Job Overview

As Finance & Procurement Tech department we deliver IT services to our central

Finance staﬀ. For statutory & regulatory reporting purposes we develop and maintain a

financial reporting system (GFRS).

You will be responsible for development of advanced PowerBI reports including the

underlying dataset and data model. These reports support Finance users in analyzing

financial data during their monthly cycle of delivering various mandatory datasets to

regulators.

As a Data Engineer you will interact with users for requirements as well as with your

Tech colleagues that support and develop the underlying financial reporting system.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power

BI.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and

analysis.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate

them into technical solutions

• Ensure delivered dashboards and reports meet expected quality outputs

through conducting testing.• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting

solutions.

• Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting needs.

Key Capabilities/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field

• Solid Experience in the reporting tool Power BI.

• Expertise in SQL / RDBMS databases (preferably Oracle), handling of structured

data, including performance tuning.

• Understanding of data modelling concepts

• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into data

solutions.

• Extensive experience in design and implementation of data handling processes

(ingestion, transformation, modelling, and storage)

• Experience with Enterprise or Governed Reporting solutions.

• Strong problem solving and solutions engineering mindset.

• Ability to work in a complex environment with large and heterogeneous

datasets

• Experience in Agile way of working is a plus.

• Experience in CI / CD and DevOps is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in the reporting tools Power BI.

• Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, report design).

• Expertise in SQL / RDBMS databases, handling of structured data.

• Experience with Enterprise or Governed Reporting solutions.

• Strong problem solving and solutions engineering mindset.

Nice to have

• Proficiency and experience in programming languages such as Python, shell

scripting

• Experience in cloud platforms and technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
