RESPONSIBILITIES

Oracle Database Performance Optimization:

- Analyze, tune, and improve SQL queries and PL/SQL code.

- Review and optimize execution plans.

- Assess indexing strategies and recommend improvements.

- Identify performance bottlenecks at various levels.

- Work with squads to optimize application‑database interactions.

Denodo Administration & Optimization:

- Manage and optimize virtual views, queries, and services.

- Improve performance via configuration and caching strategies.

- Support squads in designing efficient virtualization layers.

- Collaborate on Denodo 9 security revamp.

- Diagnose system or query slowdowns.

Cross‑Squad Support:

- Provide expertise to multiple squads in the tribe.

- Serve as the go-to specialist for performance issues.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Strong experience in Oracle database performance tuning.

- Hands-on Denodo administration and optimization experience.

- Troubleshooting complex performance issues.

- Understanding of data modeling and distributed systems.

- Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

- Experience with data virtualization architectures.

- Familiarity with MPP platforms.

- Experience with InterSystems Caché.

- Exposure to storage strategy or cloud data platforms.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools and scripting.
