Job Overview
We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our team. As part of the team, you will be working in an Agile environment building features for the banking apps of different ING entities. You will take part in creating, maintaining and improving these banking features. You
will be able to learn and share knowledge with your colleagues from the engineering community both here in the Philippines and abroad.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver quality code that fulfills the business requirements
• Write automated tests
• Conduct code reviews that adhere to organizational standards
• Take ownership of systems and services assigned in production
• Liaise with a broad range of people including peers, product owners, and other
stakeholders
• Adopt a DevOps and Agile mindset
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define and design features
• Incorporate security best practices into all stages of the development
• Contribute to the team’s growth through mentorship and technical interview
participation
• Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends

Key Capabilities/Experience
• Proven track-record of building frontend and backend solutions, including implementing RESTful APIs, interfacing with databases, and integrating with messaging services, using a modern tech stack
• Experience with modern software development frameworks such as Lit, React, Vue, Angular, Svelte and others
• Strong fundamentals in software development, including proficiency in OOP, functional programming, design patterns, concurrency, and TDD
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
• Experience working in Agile, collaborating with teams, and demonstrating adaptability in a multicultural environment
• Willingness to learn cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and IT risk

Minimum Qualifications
Must Have

• Experience with the latest versions of JavaScript (ES7/ESNext), HTML, CSS and npm
• Experience with Typescript
• Familiarity with modern frameworks (ReactJS, Vue, Svelte) is a plus
• Knowledge on Web components, W3C Standards, and Web accessibility
• Experience in code versioning tools, preferably Git
• Working knowledge in RESTful API Development
• Working knowledge in JS tooling and CI/CD
o Build tooling (rollup / webpack / babel)
o Code quality tools (ESlint, Prettier)
o Unit testing (Karma, Mocha, Chai)
o Package and dependency management, semantic versioning
o Git / Gitflow, Branching strategies
o Basic scripting (bash and/or python)
o CI/CD Automation
