Role Summary

Tax in alignment with functional, regional and local/regulatory requirements.
Review of local regulatory reporting submission.
Prepare the tax return filing and local financial reports, in accordance with local financial standard and tax rules.


What you will do

  • Regulatory reporting, Financial Accounting and Control:
  • Manage the branch Finance to ensure the regulatory reporting and statutory accounts for branch is effectively actioned and complied with regulations.
  • Ensure the finance function is effectively the second line of defense for Tax and financial risks facing the WB business partners.


Taxation:

  • Overview the provision of tax compliance, advice and consultancy services to the WB partners and ensure the tax reporting and tax risk management requirements for WB within branch are delivered against.
  • Implementation of control frameworks for statutory reporting & Tax. Establish local specific procedures manuals. Compliance with local regulations


Finance operation

  • Procurement and outsourcing compliance. Service management for intergroup and third-party services delivery and compliance process.
  • Bank account payable service to branch stakeholders.
  • Implementation of business continuity plan for Finance.

Internal and External Audit

  • Liaise with CAS, external auditors, tax consultants and other external parties including regulatory bodies for auditing. Manage the remediation reporting, process and closure.
  • Change Management:
  • Implement the new Finance operating models and all other change requirements.

What you bring

  • At least 7 years of experience working in a financial institution, preferably in the area of financial reporting or with audit background
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent professional qualification in accounting and Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant
  • Good finance and taxation knowledge.
  • Strong control knowledge and application.
  • Good understanding of local regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to anticipate change and manage complex dependencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
  • Knowledge of our WB businesses and technology landscape and capabilities.
  • Strong Orange Code behavioral competencies (you take it on and make it happen, you help others to be successful, you are always a step ahead).
  • Good communication skills along with a willingness and mindset to enable effective knowledge sharing.
