The Mission

As Product Owner (Delivery Focus) – Beyond Banking, you convert product artefacts from Global Product Owners into clear requirements and prioritised backlogs, driving the delivery of customer-centric propositions. Embedded in a product development squad, you lead execution by working closely with engineering, tech leads, architects, and design to ensure alignment, seamless implementation, and timely delivery across markets.

Your day to day

  • Drive the delivery of technical developments related to Beyond Banking propositions
  • Track implementation progress and ensure delivery against agreed priorities and timelines
  • Work closely with engineering teams, tech leads, and architects to ensure feasible and scalable solutions
  • Own delivery backlog, ensuring business requirements are clearly translated into prioritised and actionable work
  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate delivery blockers, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure features are clearly decomposed and supported with appropriate refinement artefacts
  • Define and validate acceptance criteria to ensure readiness for development and delivery
  • Support backlog refinement to maintain a clear and prioritised delivery scope
  • Coordinate release activities in alignment with stakeholders and delivery plans
  • Work closely with the Global Product Owners and Global Delivery Manager to drive delivery outcomes and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly understood and reflected in technical execution
  • Act as a key interface between business and technology stakeholders
  • Coordinate with ING Hubs teams and country stakeholders during implementation phases
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders
  • Drive testing, implementation validation, and go-live preparation activities
  • Help ensure operational processes and documentation are properly maintained
  • Coordinate rollout across markets and propositions.
  • Drive issue follow-up and resolution activities during implementation and post-launch phases
  • Maintain and continuously update the product roadmap, ensuring visibility and accessibility for all stakeholders
  • Support process design and ensure operational readiness for product implementation   
  • Maintain product documentation and ensure it remains accurate and up to date   
  • Track dependencies and provide transparency on delivery status and risks   
  • Support incident management and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and operational efficiency
  • Drive optimization initiatives based on country feedback and operational learnings
  • Contribute to improving scalability and consistency across propositions and markets
  • Leverage product metrics and insights to support delivery improvements
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting to ensure visibility on delivery performance

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 3–5 years of experience in implementation, product ownership, delivery support, product coordination, technical coordination, or business analysis roles
  • Affinity with digital platforms, APIs, integrations, loyalty ecosystems, subscription services, or cashback propositions
  • Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Structured mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience within banking, fintech, or digital ecosystems is considered a plus
  • A proactive and execution-oriented mindset
  • Strong coordination and follow-up capabilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex international environments
  • Team spirit and collaborative approach
  • Focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
