Job Overview

You will join the Statutory & Regulatory Reporting environment, building and maintaining data-driven solutions that support banking reporting needs (Finance/Risk). 

The work involves analysing large datasets, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions in GFRS ( Global Financial Reporting System), and delivering changes end-to-end in an agile squad. 

You will work closely with a large group of Business Analysts and other squad members to refine user stories, clarify requirements, and ensure the delivered solution meets stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to refine stories, clarify acceptance criteria, and shape feasible solution options. 
  • Design and implement efficient solutions using the GFRS application ( Oracle Forms + Oracle Database) 
  • Build end-to-end changes: requirements analysis → design → development → testing → deployment → maintenance/support
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation to ensure solutions are understandable and supportable
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in the squad: code quality, automation, and collaboration practices.

Key Capabilities/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Experience with banking products and/or banking reports
  • Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret data, validate outcomes, and explain findings clearly.
  • Expertise in SQL / RDBMS databases (preferably Oracle), handling of structured data, including performance tuning.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts
  • Strong problem solving and solutions engineering mindset.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with large and heterogeneous datasets
  • Experience in Agile way of working is a plus.
  • Experience in CI / CD and DevOps is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Domain & analysis

  • Experience with banking products and/or banking reports
  • Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret data, validate outcomes, and explain findings clearly. 

Technical

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles. 
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis. 
  • Strong hands-on capability with PL/SQL in Oracle environments. 

Ways of working

  • Proven ability to work effectively in an agile team, including strong communication and stakeholder interaction
  • Team player, proactive, and comfortable driving clarification and alignment.

Nice to have

Proficiency and experience in programming languages such as Python, shell

scripting

Experience in cloud platforms and technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
