The Client Data Officer in the Grid Maintenance Unit (GMU) plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and reliability of client and entity data used across ING globally. The GMU is responsible for safeguarding the quality of information stored in GRID, the Global Relationship Identifier Database, which serves as a trusted and authoritative source of customer data for the organization. In this role, the Client Data Officer reviews and approves newly created client entities in Vantage, ensuring that all submitted information is complete, correct and compliant with internal standards. Additionally, the role involves approving change proposals submitted by various requestors, validating that updates are legitimate, well‑documented and aligned with ING’s data governance requirements. The Client Data Officer also manages former client requests, including the verification and processing of entity inactivation, while maintaining an accurate historical record within the system.

A significant part of the role includes

  • Verifying client portfolio requests
  • Performing regular data quality checks to ensure that all information across systems remains consistent and reliable.
  • The operational mailbox activities, including handling the party data and Vortex processes, with specific recurring responsibilities.

The ideal candidate speaks fluent English, is detail‑oriented, analytical and comfortable working with data in a structured and controlled environment, and with the ability to manage requests with speed and deliver excellent quality.

Wage: 6,50€ brutto/hour
