Your key responsibilities

Over a 6‑month period, your main mission as a JrData Governance Expert is to support the Chief Data Officer team in their day‑to‑day activities related to Data Management and Data Governance.

  • Provide operational support for ongoing Data Management and data governance initiatives, contributing to compliance with BCBS239 and Data Management requirements.
  • Support the coordination and organization of meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow‑up actions.
  • Assist in the organization and logistics of Data Management training and awareness sessions.
  • Act as a point of contact with Group stakeholders, providing clarifications and sharing required information.
  • Collect, consolidate, and provide statistics, indicators, and relevant informationto Group and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reporting materials, and communication documents for internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Contribute to the smooth execution of day‑to‑day activities by supporting coordination across stakeholders involved in data governance and data quality topics.

To make this happen, your key skills to deploy are the following:

  • Digital proficiency: Effective use of computer and office automation tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Power BI is an asset.
  • Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously and adapt to a variety of activities.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to maintain a high standard of quality, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all deliverables.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while proactively seeking guidance when appropriate.
  • Regulatory awareness: Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the role.
  • Clear communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Administrative and organisational: Strong ability to organise, coordinate, and manage administrative tasks efficiently.

We are looking for:

  • Experience of minimum 2 years in the financial services industry.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written), French knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding of banking (product &/or segments) & non-financial and regulatory risks is a plus
