Customer Journey Expert – Tribe Lending – Ireland – Credit & Capital Intelligence

Join ING Wholesale Banking’s Credit & Capital Intelligence (C&CI) team and help transform lending through data, automation and AI.

As a Customer Journey Expert III, you’ll drive initiatives that enhance credit decision-making, risk monitoring and digital lending capabilities across Wholesale Banking. Your primary focus will be ARIA and Early Warning Indicator (EWI) Monitoring, while contributing to broader lending and risk transformation programmes.

C&CI is shaping the future of Wholesale Banking Lending by delivering intelligent, data-driven solutions that improve how credit risk is assessed, monitored and managed. Our goal is to create a faster, safer and more scalable lending organisation through automation and innovative decision-making capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Customer Journey Expert, you will bridge business, risk and technology teams to deliver innovative lending and risk management solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Driving improvements in credit monitoring, including ARIA and Early Warning Indicators (EWI).
Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate lending and risk processes.
Translating business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
Partnering with stakeholders, engineers and data teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
Contributing to lending transformation initiatives leveraging data, analytics and AI.
Ensuring solutions align with regulatory, risk and compliance requirements.
Promoting best practices, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

How to Succeed

We're looking for curious, driven professionals who take ownership, embrace change and continuously learn.

Experience & Expertise

3–5 years’ experience in Wholesale Banking, Lending, Corporate Banking, Credit Risk or a related field.
Strong understanding of lending products and credit processes.
Experience collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Portfolio Management or Credit Operations teams.
Ability to thrive in cross-functional Agile environments.

Desirable Knowledge: Credit Risk, Loan Origination & Monitoring, Data Analytics, Process Automation, AI/Generative AI, and Wholesale Banking products such as Corporate Lending, Project Finance and Real Estate Finance.
